Linus Okorie is a renowned leadership development coach, human capital development consultant, and thought leader. For nearly three decades, Linus has been a relentless advocate for good leadership in public and corporate governance across Nigeria and Africa. His vast experience in leadership coaching, mentoring, and advocacy has established him as a trusted authority in leadership excellence, consistently empowering leaders to navigate complexities with integrity and competence.
He is the Founder and President of Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI), a leadership development non-profit organization that has created 15 leadership brands designed to nurture youth, elected officials, and the public in effective leadership skills and values. Under his visionary leadership, GOTNI has emerged as Nigeria’s foremost leadership capital development organization, including the establishment of the GOTNI Leadership Centre (GLC) in Abuja.
Linus Okorie has hosted the Emerging Leaders Conference for over two decades, empowering thousands of young people annually to embrace effective leadership. He is also a seasoned power networker with a global reach, leveraging his connections to secure life-changing opportunities for young leaders across the world. An influential speaker and media personality, Linus Okorie has delivered over 2,000 keynote addresses and speeches across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. He has made more than 2,500 radio and television appearances and is a TV show host and columnist known for shaping public discourse on leadership and national development. He is the author of Footprints: Leading Beyond Today, a globally recognized book with a foreword by Dr. Myles Munroe.
Linus Okorie’s leadership programs have directly inspired over 300,000 individuals across Africa, with millions impacted through radio, television, and print media. He is a recipient of over 250 local and international awards, including the prestigious Best of Africa Award by USAfrica Magazine, Houston, Texas. As a West African representative of Adair International (United Kingdom), he has advanced leadership education across the continent with an Afrocentric approach.
A graduate of History and International Relations from Imo State University, Linus holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, Virginia Beach, USA. He is an alumnus of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the Executive Leadership Education program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Boston, USA. Linus has a certification in The Art and Practice of Leadership Development and has been inducted into the College of Fellows at the African Business School.

In 2019, Linus Okorie ran as a governorship candidate in Imo State, bringing his passion for transformational leadership into the political space with a commitment to fostering development, innovation, and good governance in his home state.
He is currently on a mission to establish the GOTNI Leadership University, the first of its kind in West Africa. This ambitious project aims to serve as a premier institution for grooming leaders across the continent, equipping them with practical skills, values, and mindsets to address Africa’s unique challenges and opportunities.
